This weekend we had Kaden's family birthday party and it was sure a blast! The little trooper lasted the whole party and didn't even get crabby once! Yesterday Shawn and I both took off the day to spend with him and we started the day unexpectedly at the Pediatrician's office after a whole night of horrible coughing! We left there with an antibiotic because of a developing ear infection and had to bust out the nebulizer machine for some breathing treatments! Since it had been so long since we had used the nebulizer with him, he was deathly afraid of it!!!! I have never seen him SCARED!!! He turned towards me and gripped on to my neck and tried to get as far away from the nebulizer as he could get!! So we turned on his new DVD he got at his B-day party (Thanks to Greg, Kelly, Kiley & Leah :-) and he was GLUED to the TV and suddenly didn't even care that we were doing his nebulizer! The little peanut weighed in at 18 lbs 8 oz yesterday.....little but still a long ways from the 3lbs 3oz he was just a year ago!!! Still no teeth....but Dr saw some that were super close to coming though! Can't believe how incredibly FAST this past year has gone! Shawn and I were just looking at him as he pulled himself up to the ledge on the fireplace tonight.....no more baby...........we now have a little man :-(
